How can I give to The Society?

The Pennsylvania Society of Sons of the Revolution is proud of our ongoing commitment to our mission, which includes over 130 years of support of education, restoration, preservation and scholarship about the Revolutionary War. Our recent and exhaustive survey of our membership has further reinforced that this part of our Mission is of primary importance to our membership. To that end we are excited to announce our creation of The Rorer Endowment to support two exciting new initiatives:

• The Pennsylvania Public Elementary Schools Book Program

• The Pennsylvania Scholarship & Grants Initiative

Both of these initiatives will commence in 2025 and become permanent fixtures in our ongoing support of our mission.

The Society’s educational programs, with the support of The Rorer Endowment, will keep the memory and ideals of our Revolutionary heroes alive by providing teachers, students, scholars, and lifelong learners with materials and resources to continue to explore the history and legacy of The American Revolution.

It is Annual Giving from our membership that will provide essential support of The Rorer Endowment so that we may continue to grow and enhance the level of support for our Elementary School Book Program and continued awards of our Scholarship grants.

We Need Your Help

We depend exclusively upon contributions from our members and their families to carry out this historic mission. All gifts are enormously important, and the Society welcomes contributions of any size to its Annual Giving Campaign. Also, please know that whatever you can give as a charitable donation will be fully tax-deductible as allowed by law.

The Many Ways to Give

To contribute to the Pennsylvania Society of Sons of the Revolution’s Annual Giving Campaign in support of The Rorer Endowment, please consider one of the following:

• In addition to Annual Gifts, the Society also greatly appreciates other forms of contributions. We accept gifts of marketable securities, planned gifts, gifts-in-kind, and major gifts. We also encourage Legacy Giving as part of estate planning – after all, the Society is eternally indebted to the vision and generosity of Herbert C.
