Younger Members Top Golf Excursion

It is no secret that our Society’s younger members are the future of our great organization, and over the last few years, we have done a great job of recruiting young men to our Society’s ranks and better engaging with our younger members. Our mission makes sure to include the importance of “promoting friendship among our members”, and every year we therefore make sure to offer our Younger Members numerous opportunities to get to know other younger members and develop that very “fraternity” and brotherhood that leads to lifelong friendships and wanting to be engaged with our mission.
On Wednesday, May 21st, over 30 of our younger members and guests (aka prospective members) joined our Younger Members Committee and a few members of our Board of Managers at the all-new Top Golf in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania to spend some quality time “golfing” and socializing at the “range”. This new golf venue opened recently and has been a huge draw for many in the suburbs. This particular evening, it drew a great crowd of our Younger Members who carpooled out from the city and in from the distant exurbs. Our Younger Members Committee (chaired by Chris Alexander and Spencer Stokes), with the enormous support and partnership of our Color Guard Captain Robert J. McNelly, Esq., hosted a terrific evening that included classic appetizers, a full dinner spread, exclusive hitting bays and, of course, open bar for the evening.
Our Younger Members committee has recently seen an enormous swell of interest and enthusiasm, and we encourage all Younger Members to make sure our Society office has your current contact information, which includes an email address and cell phone number. This is how most of our Younger Members’ events are promoted these days. If you have members of your extended household who are Younger Members of our Society, please make sure they are dialed in.
A special thanks to Captain McNelly and his team for helping to make this great event happen.
